Cannon fodder

Daughter and I went to a Slow Food event at St Fagans outdoor museum today. The food event was disappointing, basically just a tent with the sort of welsh produce I can get at my local farm shop (believe it or not, no-one was selling pulled pork). There was a civil war battle reenactment happening also, with this very loud cannon.
Anyone who makes a "shooting their load" comment needs to sit on the naughty step, okay?
