The magnificent seven

I think these are the most photographed cygnets in Buchan! They live on the lake at Strichen Community Park. There were eight but one, it's suspected was lost to the resident otter, a couple of weeks ago. So far the remaining magnificent seven are growing well. I was at the park restaurant for a farewell lunch with a colleague and just had to take the opportunity for a baby swan blip on a lovely sunny afternoon. How anybody could describe these as ugly ducklings defeats me!
