Camouflage Cat

Our second day on the Asian side of the city was as astounding as the first - we loved how animal friendly Istanbul is - lots of stray cats and dogs, all well cared for and happy, here's a Turkish Van we saw on the Moda seaside - an alternative blip, a dog in the same are, is in my Extra Photos - a cool new feature I only discovered now.
When I grew up in Turkey in the 90s there were no stray dogs whatsoever, as it wasn't common to have pet dogs, but as they became more popular in the last few years, the number of strays increased as well. They are collected by the city, neutered, inocculated and tagged (as can be seen in the dog in my Extra shot) and all seen very happy and well fed.
