Kiloran Beach
That's Tiree on the far distant horizon, with Iona and Mull nearer by in the centre and to the right of the photograph.
The morning was miserable again, with wind and rain, but around 12 noon it cleared up dramatically. We headed around the island once in the car (we cannot do that too much as we've only brought a tiny amount of diesel in the fuel tank with us...) and popped down to the crossing to Oronsay, which was surprisingly busy. Getting back to the cottage, we swapped car for the bikes we've hired, and headed off to Kiloran Bay. What an amazing place. We walked across the beach, and chilled on the rocks.
The wind picked up in the evening, eventually turning to the west, which blew in a storm overnight which we 'enjoyed' in our upstairs bedroom with skylights.
