My Sore Foot

Next Tuesday I get my stitches out and on Wednesday my family leave for New Zealand to start a new life.  I will miss my two wee Grandsons aged 2 and 4.  When they are that age they think Grandpa is fun, and always has little gifts for them.

I had 0.5cm of bone removed from the outside of my little toe as it was affecting my active lifestyle.  I would not recommend it unless necessary. It is only one night in hospital but full recovery takes several months until I can get my climbing boots on again. 
To get it done free in the NHS  a 3 month wait, privately 2 weeks, with the same surgeon.
