Sitting waiting for their order to arrive.
He, on his phone, online?
She, pensive, contemplative, pondering, staring out the window
Moments later, he puts his device down, takes her hand, strokes it lovingly/
She, seemingly unmoved, looks towards him, the picks up her phone.
He, despondently   removes his hand from hers and stares forlornly out the same window, staring into the same space that moments before occupied her thoughts.
What goes on in their private lives I wonder, before I have to move my taxi further up the rank and out of view and out of their lives forever.
