" My Husband's Nuts "....

..... this could well be what my wife says to her friends when she discuss the condition I have developed known as blip addiction !

Actually it is the title of a play running at The OSPA Theatre in my old farming community. The play is based on a family farm where husband Jack has a serious crash on his quad bike,gets concussed, and returns home convinced he is Hiroo Onoda. This part of the play is based on fact.... Hiroo Onoda was a Japanese soldier who did not believe the Second World War had ended when it did and he remained hiding out in the jungle on Lubang Island in the Phillipines until 1974 !! He only finally surrendered when his former commander travelled to the Phillipines to persuade Hiroo that Japan had indeed surrendered  ! Needless to say that in this comedy this lead to some hilarious moments on the farm. It was an excellent production  and great to see some new talent on the local stage. In this image the concussed farmer tells his wife how careful they must be.
