I was struck on a lunchtime meander that with so few leaves left on the trees it musy nearly be winter.

Nearly, but not quite.

As I was crouching on the ground trying to get the shot in focus a very old acquaintance who I've not seen for years stopped me ... I was kinda caught unawares, but we had a good chat and catch up!
