Dear Louie

He's beginning to lose some of his white feathers, revealing the black undergarments, the heat installation for the cold nights he's endured these last few months - looking at a robin you'd never believe they had black feathers under the white.  A very clever design!

It poured this morning and then it poured all the way till 2pm, so glad we didn't go anywhere!  We did manage some gardening but only very little as I've pulled a muscle in my ankle somewhere, running 5 + miles a day these last few mornings has caused something - so it's walking this weekend instead!  :) xx

P.s I did get several shots of him looking in my direction, but his eye is so perfectly sharp in this and he did have a far away look this afternoon, like his mind was on other things...!
