Loads of birds!
My brother-in-law, Bill very cleverly found a Sunday morning bird walk that he thought I might like to join - and he was right!
So he very kindly drove me to Tommy Thompson Park, bright and early on Sunday morning. I had a lovely time and saw all sorts of interesting birds - warblers and water birds and lots of little birds up close and personal in the bird ringing centre.
My absolute favourites were the night herons - here's one collecting twigs for his nest.
I've added quite a few extra photos - tree swallow, Caspian tern, killdeer and a view of Toronto from over the lake (plus a night heron selecting twigs and another in a nest)
