At last!

I was determined not to do a bird blip today but the best laid plans ....! I took a late afternoon trip up to the loch for some fresh air and exercise expecting just to make a quick circuit. I could see that the two swans were on the water but keeping fairly close to the island ..... using my camera as binoculars I spied two wee cygnets. I don't know if there had been more or perhaps there were only two but I was so thrilled so see them. The photo, which is taken from some distance away, is the best I could manage ... it's in the extras.
The two goslings are from the older group and they are fast resembling their Greylag parents.
