View Through A Horse Jump

Finally, a bit of sunshine. I chose to work at home today but found the weather too distracting so heading in to my office at lunchtime. My company has a very flexible way of working so in theory I could have just sat in the garden all day, but the work would still have to be done sometime.
We have a new MD appointed. I met him a week a go but didn't know at the time that he was about to be The Boss. I'm now replaying that meeting in my head to figure what sort of impression I left him with! But I have the feeling that our 'flexible working practice' may be a bit too easy going for him - it will be interesting to see where he takes us. I'm left feeling a bit nervous.
I did manage a nice walk round the fields in the evening, stopped for a chat with various neighbours, and got chased off by a lapwing who was nesting near by. She couldn't relax until I was well out of 'her area'.
