Not a bad first attempt..........

And it tasted good too!

First evening training as a Barista (but I won't be wearing any funny wigs in court - not that type of Barista) for Cafe Life in Oswestry.

A great evening of learning new things about coffee, fun with our great instructor - Ben Cartwright - and the bonus of many cups of great coffee!
(Ben would have thrown our practice cups out but I just couldn't do it so the coffee 'high' may start to wear off by the weekend.

Just in time in fact for the new Saturday opening of the cafe this Saturday at 10am. 

So, if you're in the area on Saturday, there will be a warm welcome, great food and wonderful coffee available - promise I won't make any yet!

BTW - the photo is of my first large Cappuccino with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Look out Mr Starbuck. :)
