Curry King

Last night I got a text to say that our family friends, Paddy and Dot are in town from Canada and there is a rendezvous point at 7pm at Central Station. So far, so normal, it's usually short notice. This is followed by mention of going for a curry. Standard behaviour for most people but not where my dad is involved.

My dad is a plain eater. He likes his food well done and plain as a plain thing. He has only eaten curry once before, homemade at a friends house and he will not eat it ever again. He has never been to an Indian restaurant and he will not go to an Indian Restaurant.
