Water for birds and frogs

The clouds of the last few days went away, alas, without giving us any rain… Now the forecast looks like sun sun sun and HOT.  There will be some dry wells in the gulf islands this summer I fear.   We do try to keep our birdbath and this little pond with fountain filled for the forest creatures, usually from the rain barrels....this might change.... (this particular frog doesn’t drink much, but the goldfinch had lots, and the deer and the raccoon have been observed there today..)
