Taiko!

These are the taiko drums (minus their drummers), which opened this evening's Beeslack High School concert. My daughter has been learning to play these drums since January and tonight was the first we heard her play. They make a wonderful sound and there were certainly no 'back row snoozers' after that! She played again later as part of the Wind Band, after we'd heard the Jazz Band, the Guitar Ensemble, the String Orchestra and various voice and instrument solos. She's been practicing on her flute for weeks and all her hard work paid off. The whole concert was filled with excellent performances. What a talented bunch!
