Too many choices
Today was the first day here that it didn't rain all day. In fact it only sprinkled this afternoon. It did remain gray , cloudy and chilly though. We went to several of the state parks and wildlife areas looking for ... you guessed it ! birds. The main photo is a solitary sandpiper we found in a parking lot. He was quite willing to pose so I thought he deserved main billing. The others are a pond with great reflections, a cactus on Burton's Island which was quite happily taking over the area at the entrance, an Eastern towhee (hope I picked the one on focus can't tell on this program) and 2 egrets and a great blue heron. We walked a lot , which was great. The ocean side was way too windy to stay on for long. Hoping tomorrow is dry!
