Spoiled I was

There was cake.
And the birthday song. In French (I know now that they'd do anything for cake).
And home-made cards. And a funny bought-in-the-shop card. And presents (I vowed to slim myself back down into being able to insert myself into that hilariously tight t-shirt - the designer unfortunately did not have "hilarious" in mind, more along the lines of "retro gay chic" by the cut of it, but it's a present from Mrs Raheny and I will make it fit).

And Finn gave me a 1 Euro coin.

The best Euro I've ever owned.
