Beach

I think today may have been (ssh!) the first day of Summer in Scotland.. We had a lovely trip out,  firstly to Dalbeattie,  where the museum is packed to the rafters with fascinating old stuff,  all of it donated,  and the place run entirely by volunteers. Then on to Barnbarroch Pottery,  where Christine makes such lovely pots that you want to buy the lot. Sarah and I bought espresso cups - mine to match my ring-tailed lemur coffee mug,  hers has a hare on it. It was only a stone's throw from here to Kippford, where the sun shone on the shell beach. Finally we had a late lunch at Loch Arthur.
Tonight I'm at  Luke's NyCoS  rehearsal  since, sadly,  I shall miss the concert next weekend.
