Duncan at the Dunbar Grammar School. We were there for the parents' evening to have a look round the school and buy uniforms and so on. It was very, very tedious... almost like being back at school! The best part was the excellent pupils who showed us around and were very expressive and able to answer questions well. That gave me much more confidence in the school than the oh-so-teachery teachers. If you know what I mean.

Today I took delivery of a 'proper' Mac, a 13" Macbook Pro. So this is my first Photoshop Blip. Since I'm a Linux and GIMP person, there's similarities and differences which take some getting used to but overall so far: GIMP is much better at rotating, Photoshop is much better at adjusting light & shadows.

And I cannot get on with this touchpad! Aaargh. It just seems random... well, I'll learn :)
