Gwytherin Stones

These four small standing stones are lined up in Gwytherin churchyard, just outside the church. They have faint traces of Ogum (or Ogham) script on, which is largely found on standing stones in Ireland and a few in Wales. The script apparently dates from the 4th century AD, but the stones are reputed to be far older than this.
