Early harvest

Before going tomorrow we tried to clear our strawberries and cherries. We did a decent job on the strawberries but the cherry tree is ridiculously tall and I wasn't brave enough to reach out to most of the cherries. It has been a good year for fruit so far. This lot were put in the freezer for jam processing at a later stage.
To save any hassle cooking on our last night, we went out for a meal in the local bar and bumped into our builder Guy, who hugely generously bought us our meal. We must look like the poor impoverished pensioners we are.
