Birthday Barge

Me and Lottie have done a couple of miles along the canal every day this week .

Most of that time is spent cooing at ducklings

Then the birdbay barge arrived and Lottie was fascinated watching it go through the locks . She has never seen locks open before so she was amazed to see how a barge managed to make it uphill.

The people on board were all very friendly and were celebrating a 70th birthday. A gorgeous day to do it .
