RANNERDALE

Today a trip to Rannerdale in the hope the bluebells were still showing. As the weather brightened the day turned into a photographers dream with the sun breaking through a cloudy sky. The play of light across Crummock Water was breathtaking at times.
The bluebells were there but in the process of being covered by the growing ferns. There was sufficient remaining today to provide spectacle but not for much longer.
