Glenlivet Distillery

Up early today for a trip to the Glenlivet distillery for their spirit of the malt tour.

Only 5 of us on the tour which stated with a trip to the water source and then a trip around the distillery itself.

Once this was completed we then had a taste of their 12, 15, Nadurra (16 year old), 18, 21 and finally their 25 year old malts.

We then went down to the warehouse to have a look at the casks before going to one of the old warehouses for a final dram. This was from a 1977 cask at cask strength and a very large measure it was too.

Lunch was eaten and Steve and myself went for a walk while J slept in the car.
We then went back for a final dram in the library as I have signed up for their guardians of Glenlivet.

Home for some food after a hard days drinking.
