Beaches and mountains

Beautiful sunny morning.....makes it perfect here! Set off up the coast to Lochinver, where we had a coffee and a cheeky rhubarb pie to check out hazelh's recommendation..... delicious!
So we could walk off the pie and cream, had a beautiful walk around Clachtoll beach and up to the headland called 'Split rock'. Mostly sunny, but scudding clouds and a pretty cold wind when we couldn't shelter from it. On to walk round the cliffs at Stoer lighthouse then drove round the coast further (this was Clashnessie beach-gorgeous) before stopping at a lovely little tea shop in Drumbeg.
When we weren't seeing coast we got some amazing views of the huge mountains in these parts....stunning scenery. (See extra)
