Flaming June....

A phone call first thing from wee brother to say the shearing contractor wants to come to clip hoggs next Thursday. A quick phone call needed to arrange delivery of a lorry load of sawdust for the floors on Wednesday. Next problem is the sheds aren't mucked out yet,and the pens are to build up. Made a start here after lunch. Went away to look some bulling heifers in Peeblesshire. Have provisionally bought 20-25. Now feeling poor again. Still,you have to keep the supply chain full and spend money to try and make money !
Patch is going around looking like a whippet,all hunched up, after yesterday's accident but at least she is walking. Had to lift her onto the quad as she hasn't much power in her back legs yet,but there was no way she was letting me check the cows tonight without her !
This blip is breaking my heart. 3rd of June,and the heating is still blazing away burning kero !
