Somerset with friends

Went for a bike ride today, lovely sunny 180 mile round trip to see some friends. I used to work with Maureen when we were with Nortel Networks in Maidenhead, but knew her husband Phil as well.
They moved to Somerset, near Glastonbury, and this is the house they bought. Beautiful cottage, parts of which are from the 1690's.
In Maidenhead they had half a dozen chickens and they've carried that on in their new home, see extra photos with Rufus and the chickens.

Edit Note - Didn't mention the outside loo! It's for the builders, they are having a separate house built on some of the land. Shame because it spoils the photo a bit.
