Yummy snails

Just before half term one of the lads in Leo's class said he would eat anything on toast and his teacher said 'even Snails'? He agreed that he would even eat snails so Leo came home determined to source snails!

As usual good old Amazon came up trumps and Leo went back to school with one tin of best Burgundy Snails and a bag full of jelly snails! The whole of year 2/3 had a great time with the snail taste test - a few brave souls gave the real snails a go and the rest scoffed the jelly snails! I don't remember having this kind of entertainment at school!
