Transit of Venus - not

So I got up at 4am, hoping to see the transit. If the skies were clear I'd be off to the uni to use the solar telescope. They weren't - wall to wall cloud, so I watched it from various locations on the internet.
Went back to bed at about 5:30, got up to go to work at 7:30 to the above bright sunshine. Not overly impressed by its timing!
