Doug & Oswald

Its rained all day - darkness has fallen earlier, the curtains are drawn.  I've just measured 12 mm or 1/2 inch which is a godsend.  We are very very dry which doesn't bode well for the winter.  Every bit helps.
The paddock which is recently sown in grass is showing green today :)

I had intended going outside into the roadside grasses to get my "Cats View Wide Angle" but the weather put paid to than.  So, I figured (if we had a cat) on such a day it would be curled up on the rug in front of the fire.....my blip!  Apart from the fire we have Doug & Oswald (the giraffe from Botswana)
