There was a bit of commotion around the bird feeders today, it turns out that one clever rook figured out a way to get to the seeds in a small birds' feeder.

He's been balancing with one leg on the thin branch, the other on a narrow ledge, in strong wind that kept flipping his tail up and he still managed to get a beak full of food.

If rooks ever evolve thumbs we're in trouble as the so called pinnacle of evolution.
