First Rose of Summer

Thank you so much to WalkingWombat for challenging us to continue our macro photography beyond May!  This is my first blooming rose this year with very tiny droplets,  my entry for the first TinyTuesday!  It is best viewed on the dark background.  
The extra is another screenshot of the osprey cam showing the mother feeding her 2 chicks... with 2 eggs yet to hatch.  :-))

My very dear friend, Roger, was born 90 years ago today.  I'm a better person for having known him and miss him more than words can express.  Happy Birthday, Roger!
