The great tits have fledged

Yesterday evening, the GT chicks were very lively, jumping around and not giving their mother a moment's peace. I thought how good it was that they were still safely in the box when it was stormy.

In the morning, I checked the live camera, only to find that they had all gone. I'd intended to get another sneaky shot with the colour camera - too late now.  So I have picked some shots from the photos recorded this morning - apologies for the poor quality.

The good thing is that all four of the chicks that hatched have fledged.  That's the best outcome that I've had in 8 years of running nest box cameras.
