Parkrun and parade

A busy day. I did my first ever parkrun at Cramond, Edinburgh. I enjoyed running by the sea, and even being overtaken by a mum pushing a double jogger buggy didn't dampen my mood :-D
In the afternoon C went off to the birthday party of a close friend (known from antenatal days!), A helped M take the boys up a hill. So D n I were left to fend for ourselves. We wandered into Penicuik to watch the parade - it was fab. Lots of horses in the ride out, lots of floats, bands and even fast cars and bikes. D wasn't impressed by the noise of the bands ....
