Sit Heel!

Today was what was supposed to be the last obedience lesson of the season. The weather was windy and rainy and cold, and mum felt like staying at home, snuggling up on the sofa instead. In the light of recent events, she decided we'd go, however. Merino base layers had to be put on. Where is summer?

Obedience classes are hard work, but today it was actually quite fun. We did some rally obedience, which means getting instructions for moves to perform from signs along the way you walk. Then we practised slalom with cones which was really not slalom but more Heel! and Here!

Mum told the teacher about our mishap. He wouldn't have thought I would run off either, but says this happens and said to practise Here! many, many times a day. Which we haven't really done lately, because mum thought that we had that one in a box. Everyone signed up for a bonus lesson next week, so our summer holidays will have to wait
