STATUE IN KORTRIJK

We walked round to the village hall and caught the coach which took us through the Channel Tunnel and on to Kortrijk in Belgium.
We found a nice eatery and had lunch.

After settling into our room Mr.MS7, my sister and her husband (A and P) went for a walk around the town. We came across this statue, I meant to go back to read the information but we ran out of time. I think it is to do with The Battle of the Golden Spurs 1302.
