In search of a blip
I did not take any photos today, so rather than slumping in front of the TV, I headed out in search of a blip, and this is what you are getting, a statue in Corstorphine Road.
The statue is of Alan Breck Stewart & David Balfour, who were characters from Kidnapped, written by Robert Louis Stevenson, one of Edinburgh's favourite sons. The figures are bronze, designed by Alexander Stoddart in 2004, and unveiled by Sir Sean Connery, another one of Edinburgh's favourite sons.
Here's hoping the weather is better where you are, it is still like November in Edinburgh, although, finer weather is promised.
