Happy Smiley

Sun came back today, 24 degrees.  We seem to be slipping into  a rhythm of working in the mornings, whether that be consultancy or garden or whatever, and lunch and relax in the afternoon. As we chilled this afternoon in the new recliners, we were discussing how this year is such a big contrast to the annus horribilis that we had last year with its loss, worry, pain and rain.  We are so happy to be here this year in all the ways that those words can conjure up.  This smiley face has appeared in the outdoor gallery on the other side of the village.  The old car "portes de baggage" has been removed and Mr Smiley sits there in its place.  Seems to echo our contrast between last year and this year.
