" That hurts"!

Being a rather nasty morning I sat under a tree for quite a while catching up with the antics of the coot and pen on the  Coot D'Azur.
The pen was fussing about on her side of the nest, almost stepping on the coot who, as you can see here, in retaliation pulled a huge tuft of feathers out of the pen.
As for babies - nothing yet!
