Sao Joao to Ponta Do Pargo

After a super breakfast (lovely buffet in hotel, everything you could want for breakfast and some more)...... we left in our coach for the hour drive to the start of our walk.   Very pleasant easy walking for six miles, and then to the Cabo Girao Skywalk, which was interesting.  It is supposedly the second highest glass skywalk after the Grand Canyon, and almost 2,000 feet vertically down to the pebble beach below.  And a fantastic view along the coast to Funchal.

Couldn't decide on a picture for this most enjoyable day, so chose a collage.

In the evening we had some Madeiran music and dancing at the hotel.  It was very good, and ended with most of us up dancing with them.
