Red Kite

Twenty-five years ago they re-introduced Red Kites to the Chilterns and now we see them overhead every day, making their high pitched calls that sound so incongruous for such a big bird.  

When the wind is up and they are soaring they have such fun and get together, moving their tail feathers for maximum Maneuverability. 

When the Gang's all here we have counted up to 40 - quite a sight and sound!
