THE OTHER SIDE...

...of Protaras. We were scheduled to go on an excursion to Nicosia this morning at 07:55 so we got ourselves organised with cameras, tickets and water and headed downstairs to breakfast early. We were handed a letter from the tour company telling us that the excursion was cancelled due to a lack of customers 25 minutes before departure. As you can imagine, we were not happy. Not to worry, we had a more leisurely breakfast then wandered along the coast, cameras in hand. About half a mile or so from our base, I came across this derelict hotel and swimming pool. It's not a pretty picture but it is reality and makes a change from the usual holiday snaps. I don't think you'll see this one in a holiday brochure!
