Living In The Past

Long, long ago.

In a galaxy far away.....

No that's another story.

A long time ago, when I was at High School, I had music as one of my subjects. We had the opportunity to try out various instruments, to see if we had an aptitude for them.

I fancied my chances with the flute, (well it had a nice sound and it was easier to carry than a double bass).

But try as I might and believe me I tried! I could not get a single note out of it.

Fast forward 30 years.

My Girl is playing the flute and taiko drums in this evenings concert at her High School.

She's a born musician!

I wonder where she gets it from?
