One finds the Taf Fechan tumbling from the Brecon Beacons above Merthyr. Just before the town it joins its sister, the Taf Fawr (also born in the Beacons) and they become the Taff itself.
This stream will not look like this now. Torrential rain all day means that tomorrow I expect to see the Usk in full spate. The Taff will be too.
