Rust by the Barbican

Wandered round the Plymouth Hoe (high ground). A park area by the sea, with various memorials, towers and statues where Drake was reported to have said he would finish his game of bowls before dealing with the invasion. And yes there is a bowling green still. Also wandered the Barbican a small v old now historic precinct, that was not damaged in the war and has been preserved. It has really narrow streets cobble stones, and history. Spotted the mason's mark on some buildings. steep stairs to Victorian gardens, all by the inner port.
