Have I Got Moos for You

First day of summer and it was bloody lovely out there today . " Was " being the operative word...

Erin is back at school and I have the week off with Lottie. Remarkably she was awake and eager to get going today .

We dropped Erin at school and had a walk for a couple of miles ; through the fields and woods.
It was one of those hours of peace where all you can hear is running water and ducks quacking ( and the ducklings do mini quackettes ).

If definitely felt that summer was on the way.

What is most remarkable about it all is that about two hours after this photo was taken the heavens opened and it's been pretty revolting ever since .

The early bird catches the worm , or even a few cow's bums which is *almost* as good .
