Fledgling Bonsai

We wanted to get a new Bonsai at Gardening Scotland (we sadly killed our last one) and after a very long chat with a couple of gentlemen from the Scottish Bonsai Society they found us a couple of young trees, newly wired for us to bring on ourselves.

Armed with a wealth of information and the number for the Penicuik Bonsai Society branch (no pun intended), we're looking forward to potting, nurturing and shaping them in due course.

I can't remember what this one is but love the shape, and we also have a larch which doesn't look much just now but we've been assured make fabulous bonsais.

Time will tell...
