Graduates

My youngest daughter and her friends graduated from 8th grade tonight.  I now have 2 high schoolers.  Four of the seven girls here have been together since kindergarten! Of the nineteen kids in the 8th grade class 9 have been together from the start. It was a fun night for the kids and the parents.  

I try not to miss the photo ops, but I almost blew it tonight. Right after the graduation ceremony in the church, there was a reception next door in the social hall.  Most of us headed over there but the kids and a few parents hung out in front for pics.  By the time I figured out what was up I had missed the big group photo but I did manage a few snaps of these girls and then some of Sarah (third from the left) and her friends individually before heading inside for cake.  I love the smiles here.
