Birthday Boy

Presents first thing - he was very excited and delighted with the simplest of gifts! Back to school and a quick Cheeky with Clare as a reward for getting us all up and out!

Home to pay bills and clean :-( It's not a good way to spend a day.

Smallest had requested McDonald's for his tea and a caterpillar birthday cake. I'm fairly certain Bella and Ally would not have been fobbed off with shop cake when they were 6!

Princess survived a day at school - I'm doing that neurotic mother thing of dithering about her cough, is it a viral cold and therefore we need to see it out or is it bacterial and about to turn into pneumonia (I have form for ignoring a child with pneumonia for 3 days - not a parenting high)?

Mary the chick continues to cope with her dodgy leg - she is still eating and drinking and can get across the run in no time at all! I'm starting to feel a tiny bit optimistic. Unfortunately summer has started with rain and gales so I'm not hanging about outside to get a photo to upload tonight!
